New Japanese Drama Release in January 2019 part 2

January seems to be flooded with so many dramas you might be frustrated which one(s) you would like to watch first. Here are other 10 recommended dramas:

1.       Monro ga Shinda Hi/ The Day Monroe Died

Synopsis: the story is based on a novel with the same title by Mariko Koike. It was first published in June 8, 2015. Kyoko Yukimura (Kyoka Suzuki) has lived by herself in Hanaore Town after her husband passed away. She works a s director in a memorial hall owned by a writer called Fujio Harashima. Unfortunately, the memorial hall doesn’t have a lot of visitors. One day, Kyoko Yukimura gets a panic attack. She gets a clinic recommendation from her friend. She goes there and meets Dr. Tomoyuki Takahashi (Masao Kusakari). The doctor tells her that Marylyn Monroe had her own psychiatrist. After several consultations, they grow feelings to each other.

To his surprise that Goro is actually a girl with a gyaru style. From then on, they become real friends in real world.

After some time, Tsukumo Katsumi finds out that the clinic has a special treatment for VIPs’ patients. There is something wrong the practice. The only thing that prevents them from anxiety, oppressiveness and stress is the talk of delicious food. They cannot escape from the place, and they can only rely on themselves and their fellow teammates.

To protect her children, Kyoko Hasumi decides to work again as a lawyer. She cannot stay as a good wife anymore. The drama is a remake of U.S. Television series in 2016.
