New Japanese Drama Released in January 2019 Part 3

I still have some more recommendations for Jdramas in this month. So far, some dramas are being aired at this time in Japan. Unfortunately, I don’t subscribe any TV private channels so that I cannot watch the drama in real time. From my previous post here and here, I really want to watch detective drama with Hiroshi Tamaki as the main lead. Yet, I think, I’d better wait for the complete series since waiting for Japanese sub is really torturing.

To make it short, here is the last list of Drama released in January 2019:

1. JokerXFace

Synopsis: Rukawa (Honoka Matsumoto) is a mysterious beauty who runs a video streaming called Joker. She gets much money from the channel. One day, she appears in front of Yanagi (Matsuo Satoru) who had been laid off from his job. He gets assaulted by a group of young people. Rukawa videotapes the incident. While the police arrest the group of young people, Rukawa asks him to join her. The video she takes about Yanagi being assaulted has been uploaded into the site. What is her real goal anyway?

2. Hajimete Koi o Shita Hi Ni Yomu Hanashi/ A Story to Read on when You first Fall in Love

She turns 31 this year and she works as a teacher at a private institute. There are 3men appear in front of her at the same time. They are Masahi Yakumo (Kento Nagayama) who is smart and a cousin of her, Kyohei Yuri (Ryusei Yokohama) is a rebellious high school student, and Kazuma Yamashita (Nakamura Tomoya) is Kyohei’s teacher in school.

 3. Sasurai Onsen

Synopsis: A gossip spread saying that Endo Kenichi is going to retire from acting. Why could he be doing such a thing?

5. Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni  Sasagu/ I Hive My First Love to You

Takuma Takenouchi ( Shuhei Nomura) and Mayu Taneda (Sakurai Hinako) have been friends since they were 8 years old. Takuma was hospitalized due to his illness, and Mayu was the daughter of a doctor. One day they went out to park together and promised each other to marry each other. But after that they get separated. 7 years later, they meet again when they are in senior high school. Would they continue their promise, while Takuma knows that he doesn't have a long time to live in this world.

6. Perfect Crime

Synopsis: It is based on manga with the same title by Ririo as the writer and Aya Tsukisimabas the illustrator. Kaori ( Reina Troedl) has been in a relationship with her boss Fuyuki (Hidekazu Mashima). Unfortunately, her boss is married. She cannot see her future with him, though. But she still loves him. One day, there is anew young interior designer who was just transfered from New York in her office. He is Haruto (Dori Sakurada). He accidentally finds out about their secret relationship. Haruto and Kaori happen to work together as partners. Their relationship begins to change.

7. Gosaigyo/ Black Widow Business

Synopsis: Ot is base on a novel by Hiroyuki Kurokawa released in August 29, 2014. One day, Tomomi Nakase (Tae Kimura) finds out that her father is taken to a hospital. She immediately goes to the hospital to see her father is unconscious. It is the first time for her to know that her father is married to Sayoko. She tries her best to stop Sayoko taking her father's fortune. She hires a detective to investigate Sayoko and Toru. 

8. Setsuyaku Rock / Saving Rock

One day, he is dumped by his girlfriend due to his spendthrift traits. He says that economizing is not rock. To win her back, he begins to economize on everything. But, Kota Inaba (Daiki Shigeoka), a handsome guy who loves savings, approaches his ex girlfriend. 

9. Yotsuba Ginko Harashira Hiromi ga Monomousu!

Synopsis : It is based on manga entitled Konno Onna ni Kakeru by Ryoka Syu as the writer and Kazuko Yumeno as the illustrator. Hiromi Harashira (Yoko Maki) works at a bank headquarter as soon as she finishes her college. She has a strong sense of justice. Because of it, she causes an incident that makes her get transferred to to a branch office. She begins to work as a sales division manager at Taito branch as a part of Yotsuba Bank's project. In this place, Hiromi uses her sense of justice to reorganize the bank branch by putting customers first. 

10. Mikazuki

Synopsis: Oshima Goro (Takahashi Issei) works as a janitor in an elementary school. A single mother Akasa Chiaki (Nagasaku Hiromi) is against formal education during the war and sees the potential in a school to give lessons for free. The two of them become a couple both at school and home, and they create new history in the industry in this story depicting a family's 50 years.

Well, minna-san. Your life will be full of watching dramas, especially if your favorite genre is on the list, or your favorite actors/ actress are on the list, or your favorite manga has the live action with your idols in it. Enjoy watching.
