Two super wealthy families have a kind of dispute. Ring a
bell? Is it something like Montague and Capulet? Well, yup, but the ones who
have dispute here is two yakuza families, Ichijou and Kirisaki families.
Ichijou family represents yakuza gang named Shuei-gumi, while Kirisaki family
represents Bee Hive yakuza gang. Even though Ichijou Raku was born from yakuza
family, he doesn’t have any interest to continue his father’s clan. He only
wants to study hard and later becomes a public officer. He tends to use his
brain rather than his strength.

...without hitting any humankind 😁😁😁 |
Opposite from Raku, Chitoge Kirisaki has a tendency to use her
strength to solve the problem. It seems that she could be the right heir to
continue her family business. That’s why, meeting Raku, moreover being matched
with him as her boyfriend for the sake of avoiding conflicts between two gangs,
would only make her furious. However, Raku and Chitoge don’t want to see the
people from their gangs to fight each other. Eventually, they agree on having a
false date, or nisekoi for the sake of peace.

Can you hold your childhood promise? |
In the beginning of the movie, there were two children, a
boy and a girl, making a promise to marry each other one day they grow up. No
matter what, the first lead would win the love. The boy is obvious that it is
Raku. But who is this mysterious girl? I already thought that this is kind of
typical love story, a childhood love story. But I was wrong.

The Kirisaki's body guard, Stalkers! |
The dispute between two fake lovers continue, though. They
even try to go on a date with their bodyguards following them, especially
Chitoge’s bodyguard. It’s annoying at first, but then it’s hilarious at the
same time. Without realizing, Raku grows his feeling to Chitoge. Well, what
about his promise to the mysterious girl? What if that girl is not Chitoge? Or
what if that girl is Chitoge in different version? Or what if that girl is
someone random he would never meet?

Volume 1 of the manga version |
I tried to read the manga in the beginning chapters, it’s
hilarious, by the way, especially the way the two families treat their beloved
children. But, too many mangas are having live action that I don’t know which I
should read and finish first
😂😂😂. I wonder why Raku, as the
second child, has to take the responsibility to fulfill his father’s dream to
have a date with his rival’s daughter? Where is the first child? I dunno if the
manga mentioned something about the first child of the Ichijou family. Raku grew
up in yakuza family, but he doesn’t have any intention to continue his clan.
It’s not clear where and who influenced him to do so. He seems to avoid dispute
and have a good way to compromise in any situations.
Chitoge, on the other hand, has everything to be the
successor of her yakuza family. After knowing Raku with his kind heart, she
decides to change. Sweet. But, don’t forget, to get Raku’s heart, she should
fight with a girl on Raku’s mind.

The 'proposed' Juliet |
I’ve never been amazed with Kento Nakajima’s acting. Sometimes,
I thought that he is acting on the stage, and there is someone shouting him
direction to do this and that. In short, he is not acting, he is just following
direction from producer. But, honestly, I still enjoy his movies. Starting from
Kurosaki kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai, Teen Bride, The Anthem of the Heart
and Silver Spoon. Surprisingly, I like his acting in Silver Spoon. He was just
different. Ahya, I dropped watching his drama entitled Cops and Robbers
(Dorokei Keishichou Sosa Sanka). In The Anthem of the Heart, he has different
character from he mostly has in many movies. But, I think, I prefer the anime
to the live action. In this live action, Nisekoi, he actually succeeded to make
the movie hilarious. Thanks to Ayame Nakajo, too.

Oh. My. God. Is she my Juliet? Nooooo..., |
|
My Eyes on You, hey, Beansprout! |
Ayame Nakajo seems to be a promising actress in the near
future judging from many movies or live actions she’s got. In the live action
Real Girl, she’s pretty and looks feminine with her role, but in Nisekoi, she
showed her other side. She’s still pretty as always (sometimes I thought that
she’s that pretty that she looks scary hahahaha). Her acting is OK, but not my favorite
yet. I like her in Anonymous Noise (Fukumenkai Noizu). Did she sing the song
herself? She’s got great voice; don’t you think?
The other two female characters who are close to Raku,
Onodera and Marika, well, I haven’t seen them in Japanese drama I’ve watched so
far. The role for Onodera is to confuse the audience whether she’s the one in
Raku’s childhood or not, or whether Raku would get his memory back about his
promise to someone in the past when she mentioned something about Romeo and
Juliet. Raku’s previous feeling to Onodera gradually switched to Chitoge. The dispute
makes them close together. And that’s sweet. What about Marika? Well, if her
role is dismissed there, I think it won’t change the whole story. Sorry not
sorry for that. Lol. Ahya, you should see Raku and Chitoge’s performance performing
Romeo and Juliet drama.

Romeo and Juliet drama |
All in all, the movie is quite satisfying for me. It is
light and fun, and hilarious and funny, and everything. You don’t need to think
too much about it. The duo Ayame Nakajo and Kento Nakajima performed quite well
here, a bit dramatic, especially Kento Nakajima. For Nakajima fans, I
❤
