The plot

It is a love story between Takahashi Ryohei, a caring, young yankee who runs a bicycle shop, and Hanno Tomoko, a shy 30-year-old office worker.

Adapted from a manga with the same title by Matsusumi Arare.

I just finished this live action a few days ago. I thought the story is simple and easy to follow. The theme is so Japanese style like changing yourself into a better person after meeting someone special. There's no necessary plot twist in the story. I continue watching it since I already started watching from the first episode and eager to know what happened next. And nothing special happened hahahaha...

Frankly speaking, I'm not really impressed with the female lead, until the last episode when her family background was told. It appeared that she's got that personality from the way she was raised. The actress who performed the female lead was a bit of expressionless. I think I saw Uchida Rio somewhere but didn't really pay much attention. For the male lead, Suzuki Nobuyuki performed better. I saw Nobuyuki a couple of times played yankee character, like in Koi Desu, Yankee kun to Hakujou Garu, Tokyo Revengers, and the latest drama he's going to play is as a ninja. I really look forward to seeing it. I hope he can select more different roles rather than playing as a yankee.
