4 Recommended Websites for Jdrama Lovers

I don’t really remember when I started to get into Japanese movies and dorama. All I remember is I watched Nodame Cantabile, and I couldn’t get enough of it. I kept looking for the movie versions, and then I started stalking the male lead there, Hiroshi Tamaki. From one male lead to another male lead, and go on and on, until today. I don’t know how many male actors I adore. 😁😁I thought if I adore one figure, and then I found another cooler figure, I would change my idolized figure into the new one. It happened to me when I watched Korean drama. I used to watch movies by Jang Geun Suk. But after I watched Hyun Bin drama, I’d compare then I stopped watching all drama by JGS. LOL. But, Japanese idols are different, at least for me.

Hiroshi Tamaki, Yamashita Tomohisa (Yamapi), Kento Yamazaki, Masaki Suda, Ryo Yoshizawa, Mahiro Takasugi, Sota Fukushi and his ‘twin brother’—Taishi Nakagawa, Ryunosuke Kamiki, etc, but my love goes for Takeru Satoh. Awwww…. ❤❤❤

That’s why, I keep looking for new info about those artists. Since I don’t speak and read Japanese, I should keep updated with some websites that would satisfy my thirst of Japanese movies/ drama/ artists.

Here is the list of 4 websites I recommend for anyone:

1.       Asianwiki
joseinoburogu.blogspot.com

Asianwiki is my top priority to find information about new updates on Japanese movies/ drama. The theme of the website is simple. There is a search engine on the top right corner if I want to search something related to movies/ drama or artists. In the bottom of the info, there are two columns containing new drama of certain artists and new trailer of on-going drama or upcoming movies. In my spare time, I always update the trailers with Japanese flag sign. Ah, beside Japanese movies/ drama, Asianwiki also updates Korean movies and artists, too. One thing I like most from this site is the comment column of the visitors.  Sometimes it’s like a movie/actors discussion how they adore, at other times they show their disappointment of the movie. Once, I put my comment there and put my blog site there, and IT WAS SUCCESSFULLY REMOVED. LOL.

2.       Mydramalist
joseinoburogu.blogspot.com

I can say that this site is more complete than my first priority, Asianwiki. I can’t find some info in Asinwiki, so I’d go visiting mydramalist. Even though it is more complete, I don’t really find familiar with the outlook of the website. Perhaps, it’s because I’m more familiar with Asianwiki. Well, it is only a matter of preference. But these days, I start to visit this site more frequently. Similar to Asianwiki, Mydramalist also provides many Asian movies and actors, including Taiwan and Thailand.

The first time I came across this site; I was in awe! At that time, I was about to get serious on my blog about Japanese drama/ movies. I felt really discouraged with my own competence in updating posts. Salute with all the contributors of the site. πŸ™†
Why did I feel discouraged? Well, just visit the site on your own. You can see how this site updates the posts. ALMOST EVERYDAY. This is something I can never do since I like doing leisure things in my free time. LOL. So, what are you waiting for? Go, bookmark the site. RIGHT NOW!

4.       Cloverblossomblog
joseinoburogu.blogspot.com

This is another amazing site I can recommend for Asian movie lovers. Once, I stumbled on this site while I was looking for some photos of Natsuzora. And voila, this blog is the one I need. But, you know, some photos have copyright that I decided to screenshot the video while playing it.
I wonder how long the blogger spends her time for this site. Not only I could find some upcoming movies/ drama, but I also can find some synopsis, drama recaps, and some rankings on Japanese actors, Japanese weekly rating for on-going drama, etc. One thing that might be the barrier for everyone around the world is this site is in Bahasa Indonesia. If only the blogger could write in English, I’m sure the visitors would be overwhelming.

Well, there are some other sites that I visited once in a blue moon, like drama wiki, Wikipedia, wiki d-addicts, etc, but these four sites are the most frequent I visit. Some websites I recommend have their twitter account updated daily. Check out @cloverblossom for updates.

From being discouraged, I start to feel motivated on updating my blog about Japanese movie/ drama review. Those sites are there to complete my posts here, but still I try not to copy paste the content since it’s kind of plagiarism. Thank you very much for the  contributors. Well, do you have your own blog/ sites you could recommend for me? Just drop in comment below. I’d try my best to visit.

Ja, matta….
